WLS: Lessons of Leadership from LatinAmerica 2022

In connection with the Summit of the Americas, this event hosted a panel of distinguished Latina leaders whose contributions are making great strides in the political, economic, and civic society of the Western Hemisphere. They shared insights and lessons with each other and with invited local leaders through their panel discussion and networking opportunities during the reception. After the panel discussion a reception was held in the courtyards and featured remarks from the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico and the Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister. The panel offered language interpretation services and the reception included food and drinks from Pez Cantina Catering, music from DJ Sizzle Fantastic, decorations from Latinx With Plants, art from the AtlaMed Art Collection, and photography from Las Fotos Project. The panel and reception included sign language interpretation provided by the City of Los Angeles Department on Disability.
